Well i told you the book im reading called Staying alive in year 5. Well im reading 2 books at once and the book im telling you about today is Chinese Cinderella and the secret dragon society. Its a great book and sad to. I can’t tell you how this book goes eather because you mmight want to read it to so i’ll give you abit of info. There is this little girl living with her dad and step mum. She catches up with her auntie all the time and her auntie is really nice and her grandmar.

Well for our high flyer we had to talk about our books that we are reading.

Im reading a book called staying alive in year five and it is really good. It’s all about this teacher who has amgic powers and is the best teacher on earth. I can’t believe anyone would have a teacher like that.

Sorry i can’t tell you anymore because you might want to read it. I recommend it.

We have to do a 200 word blog post on someone. I chose Ernie Dingo because i don’t know much about him and he sounds like an interesting man.

Ernie Dingo is an aussie with a beautiful heart. Ernie lived his life jam packed being a teacher, a host In Getaway to a comedian. Ernie was featured in quite afew shows and become a huge success. He was a successful student at Mullewa Primary School to Geraldton High. In high school Ernie loved to spend alot of his time playing basketball that was something he could relax to and be himself. Ernie I think had one of the most greatest careers as an aussie. He has been the host of the popular holiday destination program The Great Outdoors since 1993. He has also appeared in many Australian television series such as The Flying Doctors, HeartBreak High and Rafferty’s Rules. Ernie Dingo has been awarded a star on the Caloundra “Walk of Star’s” on the corner of Subway and the old Post Office. This spot was being saved for Barack Obama who refused to attend his induction ceremony, which was to be hosted by Dingo, so a roll of duct tape and a felt tip pen were used to award the ultimate Caloundra accolade to Ernie Dingo.

Ernie was born on the 31 July 1956 (1956-07-31) (age 53) (wiki said) and was born i Western Australia. Ernie Dingo has a beautiful wife called Sally Butler. She married Ernie in 1989 living a good life.

Ok well this week was our second to last game of the term and it was a great time. Today we won by our biggest score it was amazing 6/0 our way. Today was a good game bacause people were really trying and i think that YOU!!! nika was awesome. Today we had a fall as a girl fell on Danika seeing as the girl was 2 times the size of little nika she got hurt. It was hot and sweaty and all of us were dizzy. Today the scorers were: 2nikki x2, squidjet, KT and ME!!! yay my first goal in the term. When i scored a goal i was telling everyone it was a boring shot seeing as i was right near the goals but it wasn’t said acouple of my team members. I can’t figure out who scored the last one but it was 6.

Shout out to the team: YOU WERE ALL GREAT!!! CONGRATULATIONS TO THE SCORERS!!! AND WORK HARD NEXT WEEK ASWELL BECAUSE IT’S OUR LAST GAME!!!

On the 5th of September i had my party. There was a theme and i chose 70’s. My party was combined with a friend from newzealand and she chose to have 70’s aswell. At my party i chose to have alot of music to dance to even old music but to make the music loud and the room colourful i had a DJ and disco lights with a mirror ball how much more 70’s could that get. We played some really fun games like this news paper game when the paper got smaller and smaller. During the newspaper game we had some good stratergies. 2nikki and floppym piggy backed each other. I got partnered up with footirian and we thought of all these good stratergies but i was wearing a 70’s dress so i couldn’t do them. For dinner we had a simple pizza with chips and lollies (i mean whats a party without snacks???). For our cake we had pink with sprinkled donuts because we would of had to buy 5 cakes because there was alot of people. We had a 70’s dress up competition for best dressed and the winners were: benny1000 dressed as a pimp and my friend amy that goes to high school. Alot of people gave me like $20 so i got $195 all up and that is good for the holiday im going to in October. Over all the night was a pretty good night and we all enjoyed it.

Well on Tuesday i went to the show and it’s really fun. I went on one ride because i kept on asking for things. I wen’t on the Gravetron and that was fun as but wasn’t scary. I got a pear of glasses without lenses and they were fluro green. I got a 3 in 1 show bag and i got a kitkat bag, smartys bag and a vilot crumble bag. The day was great and i enjoyed it. I got many cool things and did i tell you i got a belt buckle that has writing across it like electronic. I put partay like that and it is killa.

Well last on Friday we won soccer by 2/4 the scorers this week were KT, squidjet, 2nikki and anna79 CONGRATULATIONS!!! to them.

Well last friday us girls had another game of soccer. We versed west beach and it was really fun. In the first quarter it wasn’t going so well seeing as nobody was scoring goals. Until nest quarter we won by 2 goals it was 0/2 our way. If we didn’t forfit our first game we would be underfeated. The goals were shooted by KT and Squidjet (squidjet’s goal was set up by me but it was still Squidjets goal.). The game was fun and the most challenging out of them all but i had a great time.

Today we had what our school calls book week. If you don’t know what book week is then here I’ll tell you. Book week is a time when we all dress up in our favourite book character. The theme we had this year was Safari it’s really cool. Alot of people dressed up in animals like cheeters, tigers and cave men. I dressed up as a tiger i had ears and a tail with a tiger bow around my neck. Today was a great day it was really fun because one reason is that we didn’t have to wear hats. We had some people come to our school and do a performance. They were acting a book it was pretty funny though kind of scary. It was scary because the guy came right to your face and told you weird things. In a part of the play the girl had a cat called Pussy. She walked pass a guy and said hey look my cat which was footirian. The guy acter said thats your cat? what have you been feeding it? then he said and why is his head shaved? AND WHY IS IT WEARING A JACKET!!!?. For lunch we all got a meal deal which we did have to pay for. I got a sausage roll with sauce and a fruit box it also came with a killer python (lolly snake) and a jungle donut.

Over all the day was fun and i enjoyed it. Im happy that it was able to have a great time on my last book week parade.

Well for homework we have been set a task to write what our parents/caregivers think about our Term 3 High Flyer program. I interviewed my nan because i was at my nan’s house at the time and it would be a change instead of always doing your parents.

Nan Says: Term 3 High Flyer is a great program along with the others like Term 1, 2 and 3. It gives you incentive to do well with all your work and the way you behave. The qualitys are magnificant becuase you would use those qualitys not just during school but all your life like work and with your family. Nan said she would be very proud that her grandchildren would get a High Flyer/certificate because it shows that my grandchildren have been trying there best.

Thats my nan’s thought whats your parents/caregivers thoughts. Can’t wait to see.

Well today we had a big party just before our lunch time celebrating the day we find out what High School we are going to. I got into the High School that i wanted to get into HENLEY!!!. I felt sorry for the people that din’t get into Henley because they are my friends and i want them to be with me. I am excited not because my friends are going to be there but because i can make new friends.

Well today we had our 2nd game of soccer YAY!!! and we won 8-1 our way. There were alot of good goals from my mates: dna, 2nikki, anna709 and KT. There were some funny times in this game too because niki got tripped twice and landed on her knees/bum. This game was really fun and i enjoyed it. I have learnt that i have to keep my eyes on the ball because i keep on losing it.
